JAULA
JAULA is a library and exhibition hall with flexible seating areas tailored to different uses. Its industrial-style exterior and interior are softened by fresh, inviting furniture that creates a warm atmosphere for all visitors.
At the heart of the design stands a slender steel-rod bookshelf that lends the project its name and highlights the true protagonists: the books. This structure also organizes circulation and divides spaces naturally.
On the ground floor, visitors find the reception, reading zones, and areas for both individual and group work, including a steel-framed pavilion with a large table. Amenities and restrooms are also located here.
A stepped seating area serves dual purposes: relaxed reading or accommodating larger audiences for talks. This tiered space connects to JAULA’s upper level, a versatile zone for exhibitions or relaxation.
